A cute chickadee perched on an tree branch is hand-painted on this wood slice ornament, and would be a great gift for any occasion - Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Christmas!  Chickadees are common visitors to bird feeders, so this ornament is also a big hit with bird watchers!  I also hand-painted an evergreen tree in falling snow on the back of this ornament. 

This ornament is approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick.  An ornament of this size looks great on trees from small to large.  Each side is hand-painted with acrylics, and I seal the ornament with a light coat of polycrylic to prevent the wood slice from cracking and the paint from chipping.  Jute twine has been added for hanging the ornament.
