Hand-Painted Songbird Wood Slice Christmas Ornament

A favorite backyard bird is the tufted titmouse, so I created this hand-painted wood slice Christmas ornament to celelebrate this tiny songbird! The back of the ornament features an evergreen in the snow. The titmouse ornament lends a beautiful nature aesthetic to your tree, and is a wonderful gift for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts!

- Wood type - pine
- Ornament size - approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
- I hand-paint all ornaments with acrylic paint and seal the entire ornament with a water-based polycrylic to prevent the wood slice from cracking and the paint from chipping. Sealing also enhances the paint color and wood grain.
- Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
