The state bird of Missouri is the eastern bluebird, and I have hand-painted this lovely bird on a wood slice Christmas ornament! The bird is perched in cedar branches bearing blue berries against a winter gray background, and is the perfect winter scene to add to your holiday tree decorations. An evergreen tree in the snow against a sky blue background is hand-painted on the back of the ornament. This would be a great gift for anyone that appreciates nature, too!
The overall measurements for the bluebird ornament are approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick. I paint all of my wood slice ornaments with acrylics, followed by a light seal of polycrylic for preserving the wood and paint. Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
