Add a beautiful hand-painted common loon to your Christmas tree or a large houseplant with this wood slice ornament.  This handmade ornament lends both rustic and nature theme aesthetics to your holiday or everyday decor.  I completed the back of this ornament with a dark, starry night that is background to a loon on a pond silhouette.  

This wood slice ornament is approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick.  I hand-painted the wood slice with acrylic paint and sealed the ornament with a light coat of polycrylic.  Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging.
